KAMLOOPS — Police say the disappearance of a man from the Stump Lake area in October 2013 is still a priority case.

In a news release, Cpl. Mike Mucha with Tk’emlups RCMP says officers are continuing their investigation into what happened to 44-year-old Dean Morrison.

On Saturday (Oct. 12), Mucha says, a further search of the Stump Lake area was conducted in partnership with search and rescue crews.

SAR personnel from Kamloops, Clearwater and the Shuswap attended and aided in the searches for Morrison.

The Saturday search covered off areas of interest previously covered as well as new areas.

“This search is part of Tk’emlups RCMP ongoing commitment to this file, however, Dean Morrison remains missing and the investigation continues,” Mucha says.

If you have any information about Morrison, call Tk’emlups RCMP at (250) 314-1800 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
