Lady Gaga’s New Re-do

Lady Gaga has decided to distance herself from R. Kelly by re-releasing her 2013 album Artpop without the two’s collaboration “Do What U Want.” The new vinyl and CD versions, which are available on November 11^th, leave the track out entirely.

Lady Gaga is not the first to take action against Kelly in light of his recent sexual abuse allegations; Chance the Rapper also pulled his 2015 collaboration with Kelly. However, Gaga is the first artist to re-release an entire album. These moves come after the release of Surviving R. Kelly, a documentary which thoroughly detailed the allegations against Kelly.
