Field of Screams ready to scare Kamloops from Sunset Valley Farm

KAMLOOPS — Not for the faint of heart, the popular Field of Screams event has spread to a second location at Sunset Valley Farm in Kamloops this year.

Originally starting from the Historic O’Keefe Ranch in the Vernon area, the haunted corn maze brings out trained actors, and sets designed to frighten, and ultimately entertain participants. Given the design of the event, Field of Screams is not suitable for young children.

According to the Sunset Valley Farm website, the theme for this year’s Kamloops location is Carnival Freakshow.

After some weather related delays earlier in the week, today (Oct. 12) marks the second day of operations. The event runs October 16-19, 23-26, and 29-30 at Sunset Valley Farm – located at 3275 Tranquille Road.
