Maroon 5 Drops Memories Video: Watch Here
Maroon 5 has shared the video for the band’s new single, “Memories.” The clip is dedicated to Jordan Feldstein, the band’s late manager who died unexpectedly in December 2017 following a pulmonary embolism. As the screen fades to black at the end of the video, the words “For Jordi” appear scrawled in a handwritten font.
Frontman Adam Levine seems to be addressing Feldstein directly in the song’s lyrics, as he croons, “Here’s to the ones that we got/ Cheers to the wish that you’re here, but you’re not/ ‘Cause the drinks bring back all the memories/ Of everything we’ve been through.”
“Memories” is the band’s first new song since their chart-topping hit “Girls Like You” (featuring Cardi B) spent seven weeks at Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 last year. The group’s last full-length album, Red Pill Blues, came out in November 2017.
