Kamloops players, Blazers draft picks selected to WHL Cup teams

KAMLOOPS — Two Kamloops players and seven Blazers draft picks have been named to play in the Western Hockey League Cup later this month.

B.C. will field a strong roster for its title defence, including Kamloops players goaltender Kolby Hay and forward Carter Streek.

Hay is a draft pick of the Edmonton Oil Kings —- Streek with the Portland Winterhawks.

The B.C. lineup also includes four of the Blazers bantam drafts — first round picks Mats Lindgren and Connor Levis and fourth round drafts Cameron Johnson and Fraser Minten.
