Billie Eilish was taken aback when some of her fans gave the thumbs-down to a possible collaboration with the South Korean boy band BTS.
The subject first came up when the members of BTS gave Eilish a shout-out in a Beats One interview, saying they were interested in potentially working with the “Bad Guy” singer.
Eilish was asked about it during a recent chat with NPR at the Austin City Limits Festival and put the question to the crowd — with a few folks adamantly saying, “No.”
Eilish seemed unhappy with the response, telling the audience, “Stop! Oh my God, that is so mean,” and adding, “I’ll listen to them. They’ve very nice, they’ve said some very nice things about me.”
