TNRD seeking feedback on RVs being used as permanent homes
KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District is asking for the public’s input on if RVs should be used as permanent homes within the district.
In the survey, the regional district asks questions regarding whether this bylaw should apply to RVs on private land, a time limit for living in the vehicles, and if people should be allowed to reside in an RV instead of “dwelling on a property with no buildings”.
Living permanently in a recreational vehicle has never been allowed in the regional district, but the TNRD issued a notice over the summer which laid out the bylaw around using an RV as a permanent home.
