Cranbrook awarded BCHL expansion franchise

KAMLOOPS —- Cranbrook is back in the game.
After losing the Western Hockey League Kootenay Ice to Winnipeg, the B.C. Hockey League is going to the East Kootenay city of 20,000 with an expansion franchise.
The tem will be called the Cranbrook Bucks and the majority owner and team President is Nathn Lieuwan.
28-year old Lieuwan played for the Kootenay Ice from 2007 to 2012.
