Special weather statement issued for Coquihalla between Hope and Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — A cold front will sweep in over the Southern Interior this evening, which could lead to flurries on the mountain passes.
A special weather statement has been issued for the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Kamloops, and for the Okanagan Connector between Merritt and Kelowna.
Periods of snow will develop over several high-elevation passes this evening, and flurries are expected to continue through Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 8).
Roughly five to 10 centimetres of snow is expected to accumulate in the area, but more than 10 centimetres is possible.
