Sia Has Chronic Pain Syndrome

Sia has revealed that she’s been living with a neurological disease that “demoralizes” chronic pain. The singer-songwriter has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, which targets the body’s connective tissue. She revealed the news via Twitter, saying that she wanted to reach out to others coping with pain.

She wrote, “I just wanted to say to those of you suffering from pain, whether physical or emotional, I love you, keep going.” She added, “Life is f*cking hard. Pain is demoralizing, and you’re not alone.”

She later clarified that she has been diagnosed with a neurological disease and ehlers- danlos syndrome. She tweeted, “Just to clarify, I have a neurological disease AND ehlers danlos. EDS isn’t a neurological disease. sorry for the confusion.”
