Blazers trade with P.A. for overage defenseman

KAMLOOPS —- The Blazers have acquired 20 year old defenseman Max Martin from the Prince Albert Raiders for second and sixth round draft picks.

A veteran of 214 WHL games with Prince George and Prince Albert, Martin had six goals and 41 points in 59 games with Prince Albert last season, and was part of their championship team that went to Memorial Cup.

The addition of Martin gives the Blazers eight defenseman and four overage players, one over the quota.

To make room for Martin the Blazers have released 20 year old forward Kobe Mohr.
