One sent to hospital after three-car crash in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — One person has been taken to hospital and traffic has been snarled after a three-car crash downtown this morning (Oct. 3).

Both lanes are open eastbound on Victoria Street near 10th Avenue, while one lane is open westbound.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the driver of the middle vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shelkie says one vehicle that wasn’t involved in the accident was turning left at the corner of Victoria Street and 10th Avenue.

The vehicle behind it abruptly stopped and that led to a chain reaction.
