ANDIE MACDOWELL TALKS ABOUT DAUGHTER, PETE DAVIDSON: Andie MacDowell, 61, is here for her daughter Margaret Qualley‘s romance with Pete Davidson. She told People: “I FaceTimed with Pete the other day or no, she took a video of me to send to Pete that’s what it was. She has a beautiful relationship with him but I don’t want to step on her relationship too much. They have a nice relationship.” Qualley, 24, is the youngest of her three children with ex Paul Qualley. (People)
MICHAEL DARBY DENIES MISCONDUCT: Real Housewives of Potomac star Michael Darby confronted sexual misconduct claims at the season 4 reunion Sunday, including one that he grabbed host Andy Cohen‘s butt. Michael, who is married to Ashley, had court docs filed against him by a cameraman who claimed he “grabbed and groped” him. He denied the allegations. “What a waste of time. There’s another unfounded accusation from someone,” he said.(People)
ANGELINA JOLIE, ELLE FANNING ON SUPPORTING OTHER WOMEN: Angelina Jolie, Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning costar in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, and the pair say they are doing their best to support each other and fight back against the stereotype of women in Hollywood not getting along. Fanning said: “From a young age, my sister is in the business, and always interviews would always be about asking me, ‘Oh, well, you guys must be really jealous of each other.’ Interviewers would want to pit women against each other, so there’s this stigma of, ‘If you guys work together there’s jealousy on set,’ and it’s just so not true.” Pfeiffer adds: “Because I’ve only had great relationships with actresses.” Jolie notes: “There’s so much that [is just] natural. The older a woman grows, there’s that maternal desire to nurture. Especially when you’re on set, or you’re in any situation, you want to nurture. You want to look after your colleagues or the people who are younger on set. It’s fun.” Jolie, Fanning and Pfeiffer star in Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which hits theaters Oct. 18. BINDI IRWIN GIVES FANS PEEK AT DRESS: Steve Irwin‘s daughter Bindi Irwin posted a pic showing a detail of her wedding dress on Instagram, captioning it “I said yes to the dress.” The line of course is a reference to the iconic TLC show of the same name, filmed in NYC’s Kleinfeld Bridal emporium. Irwin got engaged two months ago to boyfriend Chandler Powell. (The Blast)
