Diplo Hacks the Jonas Brothers

Diplo “hacked” the Jonas Brothers’ Instagram account this week to tease a new collaboration.

The song, “Lonely,” dropped at midnight, will reportedly be part of Diplo’s new country project, which he’s putting out under his birth name, Thomas Wesley Pentz, Jr.

He’s already released the singles “So Long,” featuring country singer Cam, and “Heartless,” featuring country singer Morgan Wallen.

The video follows Diplo as he tries to reach out to Joe Jonas and his brothers Kevin and Nick to apologize for “ruining” his Vegas wedding to Sophie Turner. Diplo famously was accused of ‘ruining’ Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s surprise Vegas nuptials back in May, after live-streaming the affair for the world to see.

During his “hack,” Diplo posted photos and videos to the brothers’ account, in addition to changing their profile picture to one of himself, and recording himself laughing on their Instagram story.

“Photoshoot with Kevin, Nick and Joe. Follow @diplo,” he captioned on photo, of himself, holding three Grammy awards, with the JoBros’ personal accounts tagged on each.

Another post is a bizarre super cut of random viral images and the brothers’ faces, narrated by someone who is wheeze-laughing, and ending in a large explosion. The caption: “Tag a lonely friend and don’t say anything.”

“Never forget the original Jonas brothers,” reads one post of the Hanson brothers band. Plus, a photo of the Sprouse twins is captioned “The only Disney brothers who matter” in an Instagram story.

“Dude. Honestly it was funny for like a minute but who gave you the password?” Joe Jonas messaged Diplo.
