Historic buildings lost in Williams Lake fire

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Firefighters in Williams Lake were called out to a large blaze just after 5:30 this morning (Sept. 20).

The fire broke out on Oliver Street and appears to have started at the Diamonds & Dust strip club.

That building and neighbouring coffee shop, New World Coffee and Tea House, were destroyed and several other nearby businesses are impacted.

No one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
