KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s and men’s soccer teams played their way through back-to-back games this weekend with mixed results.

Friday evening, the WolfPack women fell 4-0 to the visiting MacEwan University Griffins in their home opener, while the men played to a 2-2 draw against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies on the Warner Rentals Field at Hillside Stadium.

Turning around to Saturday, the WolfPack women fought hard, and kept the play close against the University of Alberta Pandas, but took a 1-nothing loss in the end.

The Pack are still working towards their first victory of the regular season, as they fall to 0-3-1.

And in similar fashion to Friday’s result, the WolfPack men’s soccer team came away with a 1-1 tie Saturday night with the MacEwan University Griffins- bringing their regular season playing record to 1-1-4.

Next up, the WolfPack women will head to Manitoba to take on the Bisons in Winnipeg Friday (Sept. 20), and the Wesmen on Saturday (Sept. 21).

The men, meanwhile, hit the road for Alberta to face off against the Mount Royal Cougars in Calgary on Saturday (Sept. 21), and the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns on Sunday (Sept. 22).
