Savona man dies in weekend car crash

SAVONA, B.C. — A Savona man in his 20s has died after a crash early Sunday morning.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says Kamloops-Tk’emlups RCMP officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on the Savona Access Road at 2:00 a.m. Sept. 8.

The car had veered off the road, rolling several times.

The Savona man was the only person in the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
