KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm have wrapped up their exhibition schedule and now have a week to prepare for the Golden Rockets, their opening-night opponent next Friday (Sept. 13) at Memorial Arena.
The Storm dropped their first game of the preseason, a 4-2 loss to the 100 Mile House Wranglers at Memorial on Thursday night.
Kamloops led 2-1 after the second before the Wranglers took advantage of a 5-on-3 power play to tie, then scored another two in the third period to take home the win. Brett Mero and Jameson Rende were the goal scorers for the Storm.
