Some Kamloops trails and paths to close for revamping

KAMLOOPS — For the next two weeks, certain paths and trails in Kamloops will be close while city crews rehabilitate them.
In a news release posted on the City’s website, the City says crews will be working on areas including McArthur Island, McDonald Park, and sections of the Rivers Trail.
During the two-week period, portions of paths, trails and specific court surfaces will be closed to the public, including:
- McArthur Island’s west-end path surrounding the disc golf course
- Rivers Trail from Colombo Lodge to Pioneer Park boat launch
- Rivers Trail from Lorne Street and 10th Avenue to the Kamloops Yacht Club
- McDonald Park upgrades to the basketball courts and path rehabilitation
