Nicki Minaj says it’s about that time to close the curtains. The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday (September 5th) to announce that she is retiring from the rap game. She wrote, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE.”
Nicki’s fans went into an emotional frenzy after she announced the news. One fan wrote, “This sh*t terrifies me.”
Another said, “THIS AINT FUNNY ONIKA.”
Nicki has been very vocal about wanting to start a family. According to Rap-Up, the rapper and her boyfriend Kenneth Petty obtained their marriage license in Beverly Hills back in July. The couple reportedly plans to wed this year.
