Alberta man killed in motorcycle crash near Lytton
LYTTON, B.C. — Police and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after a fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 1 near Jackass Mountain Summit.
BC RCMP say in a news release that at roughly 9:30 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 5) an eastbound motorcycle left the roadway and crashed, killing the rider who was a 69-year-old man from Alberta.
Lytton RCMP, the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service, and the BC Coroners Service are investigating. The crash is not believed to be criminal.
Witnesses reported the motorcycle was being driven normally, at or near the speed limit when the crash occurred.
