Kamloops real estate market sets new median price record

KAMLOOPS — The latest numbers from the Kamloops and District Real Estate Association (KADREA) show local sellers set a record for the median home price in August.
According to a news release from KADREA, last month’s median price was $510,000. That was up 9 per cent from the same time in 2018.
The association says that jump is largely due to a jump in the number of homes selling in the $600,000-to-$700,000 range.
A total of 294 properties changed hands last month, the same number as July and down 9.3 per cent from August of last year.
