PRINCE HARRY TALKS PRIVATE JETS: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reamed for perceived eco-hypocrisy after the green-warriors took four private jets in 11 days around Europe. Harry attended an event in Amsterdam Tuesday, and admitted he may have messed up. “We can all do better and while no one is perfect, we all have a responsibility for our own individual impact,” he said. “The question is what we do to balance it out.” And yes. He flew commercial to get there. He said: “I came here by commercial. I spend 99% of my life travelling the world by commercial. Occasionally there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure my family are safe and it’s genuinely as simple as that.” (People)
KRISTEN STEWART TALKS ROBERT PATTINSON: Kristen Stewart is opening up about her famous romance with Robert Pattinson a decade ago, after they starred in 2008’s Twilight. She tells Harper’s Bazaar UK: “When me and Rob were together, we did not have an example to go by. So much was taken from us that, in trying to control one aspect, we were just like, ‘No, we will never talk about it. Never. Because it’s ours.’” They split in 2012 after her affair with director Rupert Sanders became known. (Harper’s Bazaar)
TRACY MORGAN PAYS BARTENDERS TO WATCH CAR: Tracy Morgan paid bartenders at Carmine’s on the Upper West Side in NYC to keep an eye on his $2 million Bugati, Page Six reports. Morgan and a pal ate Carmine’s chicken and veal parm, plus fried calamari. In June, Morgan got into a fender bender in the primo car, right after pulling it out of the dealer’s lot. (Page Six)
EDDIE GRIFFIN WALKS OUT: Eddie Griffin ditched two Saturday night stand-up shows, leaving the Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ, scrambling to replace him. During his first set Friday, the club blew a fuse, then again in the second. After the technical glitches, the Chapelle Show alum canceled the scheduled shows Saturday, and the club reportedly struggled to find a replacement. They found one (Drew Frazier), and refunded the tickets, plus let them see the replacement show for free. (Page Six)
