JASON DERULO TO HOST FIRST NICKELODEON KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS IN ABU DHABI: Jason Derulo will be hosting and performing at the first-ever Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to be held in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. “I’m honored to be hosting the first Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Abu Dhabi!” Jason said. “We’ve got a thrilling show planned, and I can’t wait to be on stage celebrating with the kids.” The event will take place on September 20th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Meanwhile, Jason also released a new single this week, called “Too Hot.” The late summer jam proclaims it’s “too hot for clothes” – sung to the melody of the 1992 Chaka Demus & Pliers dancehall song “Murder She Wrote.”

KELLY CLARKSON REVEALS SHE HAD A HEALTH SCARE WHILE FILMING ‘THE VOICE’: Kelly Clarkson, who previously powered through a burst appendix while hosting the 2019 Billboard Awards, revealed that she had another painful scare on live television while filming The Voice just a week later. “Blake [Shelton] was talking to me and all of the sudden, everything he said just went away and I had to grab his arm and I was like, ‘Something is wrong,'” she told People. She later found out it was a cyst bursting on her ovary. “That was more painful than the appendicitis. It was literally a week after my surgery so I was freaking out!”

MADONNA DELAYS ‘MADAME X TOUR’ & CANCELS A SHOW: Madonna is delaying her Madame X Tour, pushing back her forthcoming tour to support her latest studio album due to issues with “highly specialized production elements,” a spokesman said. The first three dates of her tour have been pushed back, and the show will now start on September 17th at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York City. While the September 12th and September 14th shows have been rescheduled to October 10th and October 12th, the September 15th concert is now canceled, and refunds will be issued automatically. “Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience. She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding,” Madonna said in a statement.

KATY PERRY RETURNING TO INDIA FOR FIRST HEADLINING SHOW IN MUMBAI: After marrying her now ex-husband Russell Brand in India in 2010, Katy Perry is heading back this year for her first-ever headlining performance in Mumbai. She’ll be taking the stage at the OnePlus Music Festival on November 16th. “I am so happy to be returning to India and excited to headline my first-ever performance in Mumbai,” the singer tweeted Wednesday. “I am looking forward to seeing and singing with all of my Indian KatyCats at the OnePlus Music Festival.” You can sign up now to get early access to tickets. Katy and Russell tied the knot in a private ceremony in northern India after getting engaged outside the Taj Mahal. They divorced in 2012. Katy is now engaged to Orlando Bloom.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE WINS OMEGA CELEBRITY MASTERS TROPHY FOR BEST SCORE: Justin Timberlake is proving his golfing skills. Timberlake and Niall Horan attended the OMEGA Celebrity Masters competition held during the Pro-Am prior to the start of the Omega European Masters at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club on Wednesday in Crans Montana, Switzerland. They were joined by, OMEGA’s own professional player Rory McIlroy, and actors Dennis Quaid, Michael Pena and Anthony Mackie. While they all showed off their golf skills during the Pro-Am, OMEGA presented Justin with the OMEGA Celebrity Masters trophy for achieving the group’s best individual score on the day. The OMEGA Masters will be played today until Sunday.

The Captain Marvel actress posted a series of videos to her Instagram Story showing her covering Miley’s latest song, “Slide Away.” In the clips, she strums a guitar and sings the vulnerable breakup tune. Before Brie was an Oscar-winner, she was signed to Casablanca Records. In 2005, she released her debut solo album, called Finally Out of P.E. Miley performed “Slide Away,” which was seemingly inspired by her split from Liam Hemsworth, for the first time on the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday.
