The New Age of Royal Foundations
Kate Middleton and Prince William are officially changing the name of the charity they shared with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Fab 4 announced their official split earlier this year, saying they were opting to take “divergent paths” with their charities. The unified charitable arm was previously known as The Royal Foundation when it was founded in 2009 by William, Kate and Harry. Meghan joined after marrying Harry in May of 2018, and the name was changed to The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Now, it has been changed to The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, according to documents published by Companies House.
In July, Meghan and Harry announced the creation of Sussex Royal: The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
