LESLIE JONES IS LEAVING SNL: Leslie Jones has quit Saturday Night Live after five seasons, according to reports. A source told Page Six: “Leslie has chosen to depart as she has several upcoming projects in the works – and she thought it was the right time to go.” Kate McKinnons meanwhile, will return.
MR. ROBOT PREMIERE DATE REVEALED: Mr. Robot will kick off the final season on Sunday, October 6th at 10 pm on USA Network. The final 13-episode season is set during the 2015 Christmas holiday. In a sneak peek, Elliot (Rami Malek) and Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) are seen riding in an NYC subway as they head back to work. “You go down this path, it’ll never end. It will always be something else, another symbol to destroy, more people to save. This is an endless war,” Mr. Robot warns. “What you’re about to do… is crossing the line.”
