Taylor’s Raking In the $$$

Taylor Swift is raking in the cash in 2019.

Forbes has released its World’s Highest-Paid Women in Music list for 2019 and Swift was the big earner – by a pretty massive degree. The 29-year-old earned $185 million before taxes between June 2018 and June 2019, according to the magazine.

The gigantic sum comes from her huge Reputation stadium tour, which made $266 million, a record in the U.S. She also earned big bucks for her new nine-figure deal with Universal’s Republic Records and her new album, Lover, which just dropped last week and is already the top-selling album of the year. Just last month, the singer was named the world’s highest-paid celebrity by Forbes as well.

Swift more than doubled the annual tally of music’s second-highest-paid woman, Beyonc, who clocked $81 million, mostly from her On The Run II stadium tour with husband Jay-Z and her Homecoming live album and Netflix special.

Rihanna rounds out the top three with $62 million, the bulk of that coming from her Fenty Beauty joint venture with luxury goods giant LVMH.

This is the first time Swift has topped the list since 2016, when she earned $170 million. She came in third with $44 million in 2017 and second in 2018 with $80 million.
