LARA SPENCER APOLOGIZES TO PRINCE GEORGE: Good Morning America host Lara Spencer is apologizing for laughing about Prince George‘s ballet classes. “I screwed up. I did,” Spencer, 50, said on Monday’s show. “The comment I made about dance was insensitive. It was stupid, and I am deeply sorry.” She made the remarks during a segment that discussed the prince’s curriculum at school. On Monday, Spencer says she has spoken with “several members of the dance community” and has “learned about the bravery it takes for a young boy to pursue a career in dance.”

SOPHIE TURNER DEFENDS HER SOCKS: Poor Sophie Turner! The GOT star just wanted a day off of high heels, and opted for socks and sandals comfort. But boy did people take note. She responded to serious snark (including a full write-up in Page Six) claiming she was trying to make this controversial look “happen,” on Twitter. “Nah, we’ve all been taking out the trash like this for years and you know it. I’m not trying to make anything happen other than giving my feet some much needed TLC.”

RHOBH‘s BRANDI GLANVILLE SUES OVER MOLD: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is suing her landlord after she says mold at the condo she rented made her and Eddie Cibrian‘s kids sick, The Blast reports. In court docs obtained by the site, Glanville claims she advised the landlords of a bad leak and moldy odor on multiple occasions.

JON GOSSELIN IS IN DENIAL: On Monday, Jon Gosselin celebrated son Collin Gosselin and daughter Hannah Gosselin‘s first day of school with cute pictures of his kids standing at the front door. “FRESHMAN!!! 9th Grade Wow!!!” the Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum captioned his Instagram post. “I can’t believe it!!! Good luck to Hannah and Collin this year!!! Today is their first day of high school!!!! I hope all my kids have a wonderful year in high school this year and have great experiences!!! Love all of you!!!” The remaining sextuplet sibs are living with mom Kate Gosselin. Twins Mady Gosselin and Cara Gosselin are off to college.

KEKE PALMER NAMED THE THIRD HOST OF ‘GMA’: Keke Palmer has been announced as the new third host of Good Morning America. According to Variety, the program – which was called Strahan & Sara for Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, is now titled GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke. Keke had been filling in for Haines while she was on maternity leave. Rory Albanese, ‘GMA”s executive producer said in a statement, “It’s been a blast having Keke co-host this summer. She brings a unique and spontaneous energy viewers love. She’s a multi-talented artist, and I’m thrilled to have her join Michael and Sara every day.”

EDDIE MURPHY TO HOST ‘SNL’ FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 35 YEARS: CBS News is reporting that Eddie Murphy will be hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time in 35 years. SNL announced via Twitter on Monday (August 26th) that the comedian will be returning to host on December 21st. Murphy last hosted the show in 1984.
