MILEY CYRUS KEEPING ALL 15 PETS AFTER SPLIT WITH LIAM HEMSWORTH: Miley Cyrus is keeping all of the animals she once shared with Liam Hemsworth. After the 29-year-old actor officially filed for divorce, it is being reported the 26-year-old singer will have custody of all 15 of their animals, according to TMZ. The 15 pets include seven dogs, two horses, three mini horses, three cats, and a pig. Liam filed for divorce from Miley earlier this week after seven-months of marriage. Miley recently slammed allegations that she cheated on Liam while they were married after she and Kaitlynn Carter were photographed kissing shortly after news broke about Miley and Liam’s split.

QUEEN LATIFAH & WYCLEF JEAN JOIN MTV VMAS 2019 FINALE PERFORMANCE: Queen Latifah and Wyclef Jean will perform during the finale of the 2019 MTV VMAs. The rappers join Naughty By Nature, Redman, and Fetty Wap. The performers all hail from New Jersey, where the awards are being held for the first time, MTV said. The performance joins a handful of other big moments for the night, including Missy Elliott being honored as this year’s recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. Hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, the VMAs will air live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, tonight.

NEW VERSION OF SMASH MOUTH’S ‘ALL STAR’ RELEASED: This year marks the 20th anniversary of Smash Mouth’s hit “All Star” and in honor of the occasion, the band has released a remix. The reworked version of the hit was created by DJ duo Breathe Carolina, who have turned the pop/rock classic into a dance tune with tropical house beats. “Over the years, it seems like hundreds of remixes of ‘All Star’ have emerged, and we as a band are flattered and grateful for the love and attention,” says Smash Mouth in a statement. “We have not commissioned an ‘official’ remix to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our hit ‘All Star’…until now.” When it was first released in May of 1999, “All Star” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it became even more famous in 2001, after it was featured in the first Shrek movie.

KHALID PERFORMS AT APPLE MUSIC’S UP NEXT LIVE: Khalid performed Saturday night at Apple Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C. as part of Apple “Music’s Up Next Live,” a series of intimate performances from past and present Apple Music Up Next artists. He’s set to perform a special benefit concert in El Paso, Texas, on September 1st in support of the community following the horrific mass shooting.
