WATCH: Thousands attend 3rd annual Downtown Kamloops Pride Parade

KAMLOOPS — The city centre was flooded with colour today, as LGBTQ2S+ community members, supporters, and allies took part in the 3rd annual Downtown Kamloops Pride Parade.

Starting from Stuart Wood Park and St. Paul Street due to construction along Victoria Street West near Riverside Park, thousands participated, spectated, and showed their Pride support this morning (Aug. 25).

This year’s route spanned from 2nd Avenue to Seymour Street, down 5th Avenue, and back along Victoria Street.
