Missing boy in northern BC located safe and sound

MACKENZIE, B.C. — George Benoit, the boy that went missing Saturday afternoon, has been located and is safe.
North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson confirmed the news yesterday evening to CKPG Today.
“George was found (Sunday night) by a police dog wandering in the woods,” she said. “He’s safe and sound and has been reunited with his parents.”
George was missing since Saturday afternoon. He went missing while his mother was picking berries in the Lion Lake area near Mackenzie.
