THE SPY SHARES PREMIERE DATE, FIRST LOOK: Netflix will drop The Spy on September 6th. Sacha Baron Cohen stars in the limited series, which was written and directed by Gideon Raff. The show follows the story of former Mossad agent Eli Cohen (Baron Cohen), as he goes undercover in Syria in the 1960s.

LAST CHRISTMAS TRAILER DROPS: Emilia Clarke is starring in a holiday-themed rom com with Henry Golding, and fans are getting their first look. The Last Christmas trailer has dropped, showing Clarke as Kate, a self-described “mess” who is working as an elf at a Christmas shop under an exacting boss. “I was really sick and I nearly died. I don’t tell people because they get weird, but I don’t think you’ll get weird,” Clarke says in the trailer. “I’m just scared all the time.” The screenplay was written by Emma Thompson, who also stars as Clarke’s mother. The film bows November 8th.

PATRICIA HEATON DEVELOPING JEFFREY EPSTEIN PROJECT: Patricia Heaton is attached to produce a project based on Perversion of Justice, a series of articles in the Miami Herald that exposed Jeffrey Epstein-who has a network of powerful friends in Hollywood, D.C., and Wall Street-as a serial sexual predator. News of the series came three days after Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell, by an apparent suicide.

SERIES ON HEMINGWAY’S A MOVEABLE FEAST IN THE WORKS: Ernest Hemingway‘s A Moveable Feast is being developed as a TV series. His granddaughter, actress Mariel Hemingway, producers John Goldstone and Marc Rosen and the Village Roadshow Entertainment Group are attached to develop. “A Moveable Feast has been my favorite book since I was 11 years old when my father took me to Paris,” Mariel Hemingway said in a statement. “While reading the book together, he showed me where Papa lived (and daddy was raised), ate, wrote and dreamed of becoming a great writer. His deep love of my grandmother Hadley and his growing passion for art is an inspiring time at the beginning of his iconic career. I want to reveal on film the coming-of-age story that has captivated readers and burgeoning writers for several decades.”
