KTFC athletes take three podiums at Canadian Legion meet-set one meet record

AMLOOPS — Athletes from the Kamloops Track and Field Club won three medals and just missed out on a fourth at the Canadian National Legion Championships in Nova Scotia this weekend.

Kian Zabini took gold in the U-16 hammer throw with a new legion record of 67.21 metres.

Zabini is 14 years old and was competing against 15 and 16 year olds.

Cole Bibby won gold in the javelin U-16.

Matt Arnold tossed his way to a bronze in the hammer throw.
