Kamloops RCMP looking for suspect involved in gas station robbery

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are working to identify a suspect of a late night, gas station robbery.

In a release today (Aug. 11), Staff Sgt. Mat Van Laer says officers responded to the robbery on August 9 around 11:10 pm at the CANCO gas station (228 Tranquille Road).

A man wearing a black hoody over his head had brought an empty bag, held it out to the employee and demanded money from the till.

The suspect did not bring out any weapons, and the employee was shaken up, but otherwise unharmed.

The man involved is described as Caucasian, under 5’5″, and of small stature.
