Kamloops Dairy Queens raising money for BC Children’s Hospital through Miracle Treat Day

KAMLOPS — Today (Aug 8) is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen.

The four stores in Kamloops are hoping to raise a lot of money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Proceeds from the sale of Blizzards go towards the BC Children’s Hospital.

Last year, Kamloops raised around $26,000.

This year, the goal is to raise $3.5 million across Canada.

In Kamloops, people are eager to support the fundraiser.

“Kamloops is known to just come in droves, it’s been fantastic,” said store owner, Angelo Fontana. “Miracle Treat Day, we’re going to be busy. This is just the tip of the iceberg. This afternoon and through the evening all four stores will be doing fantastic.”
