Blazers Garand backstops Canada to shutout win at Hlinka Gretzky Cup

Kamloops —– Blazers goaltender Dylan Garand backstopped Canada to it’s second shutout win at Hlinka Gretzky Cup Under-18 summer hockey tournament in the Czech Republic.
Garand, making his first start in the tournament, was rarely tested in the 8-0 win as Canada outshot the Swiss 48-8.
Canada has outscored its opponents 14-0 in winning the first two games.
Canada will close out the preliminary round tomorrow against the Czech Republic.
