Police investigate fatal crash in Cariboo Friday

WILLIAMS LAKE — The R-C-M-P say they’re investigating a head-on collision that claimed a life about 40 kilometres north of Williams Lake Friday.

Officers arrived at the scene near McLeese Lake to find one woman dead and two men seriously injured.

An investigation is ongoing but Mounties believe a northbound Ford Expedition crossed the centre line, colliding with a southbound Ford F-350. The driver of the Expedition was airlifted to hospital, while the driver of the F-350 was taken by ambulance and his passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
