Kamloops car dealership fundraising for Overlander Residential Care Facility improvements

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops car dealership is hoping to raise money and give back through a partnership with a local care facility.

Each year, Kamloops Ford Lincoln works to raise money for a Kamloops charity, and this year, the dealership has chosen Overlander Residential Care Facility to be the one they support.

$100 from each new and used vehicle sale will go towards a fund set aside for the Overlander Residential Care Facility.

The dealership hope to raise around $20,000 to help in efforts bringing in a new gazebo, garden area, and outdoor site for families to visit their loved ones in care.

As of yesterday, they have raised over $7,000, and are continuing to raise money until the end of September.

Located at 953 Southill St, the care centre is located a few minutes away from the Halston Ave Ford Lincoln sales centre.

Those interested in helping, but not wanting to buy a car to do so can call Ford Lincoln for information on how to contribute in other ways.
