KAMLOOPS — There was a scare on Friday morning for a resident in Aberdeen who was mixing chemicals in a swimming pool.
Kamloops Fire Rescue’s hazmat team, along with BC Ambulance, were called to a residence on Shaughnessy Hill. A woman was adding chlorine to the pool when she breathed in the chemicals.
“The lady was mixing some chemicals in the pool room and it boiled over a little bit and she breathed in a little of the chemicals,” said KFR acting captain Bob Westerby.
