One injured in highway 5 crash

BARRIERE – At least one person has been transported to hospital via ambulance following a crash along highway 5, approximately 1 kilometre south of Barriere.

DriveBC reports the highway has been reduced to single lane, alternating traffic though the area of the single vehicle crash.

It’s not clear when the busy highway will be completely reopened. The crash occurred late this morning (August 1).
