Missing food trailer sparks spud search
KAMLOOPS — A local company specializing in poutine is now missing a vital part of its business- its food trailer. Frenchie’s Poutinerie, which has a store in the 300 block of Victoria Street, tweeted last night its’ food trailer was stolen from the downtown core.
The trailer, which is customized for travel to various events, is pretty distinctive. The tweet says the company has been prepping for a big event this weekend and the trailer contains several thousand pounds of potatoes cut and prepped.
If you spot the distinctive trailer, call the RCMP.
There had been indications the trailer might have been spotted near Salmo in the Kootenays, but there is a poutinery in that area with a food truck and trailer, so it may have been some confusion on whose trailer it was that was spotted.
