Donation box stolen after break-in at COBS Bread

KAMLOOPS — A 56-year-old man is in custody after allegedly breaking in to COBS Bread in Sahali.

Kamloops RCMP say in a news release that at roughly 4:00 a.m. Wednesday (July 31), officers received a report of a window being broken at COBS Bread.

When officers arrived they found the front door glass had been smashed by a rock. The only item stolen was a donation box from the front counter, police say.

The 56-year-old man was arrested a few blocks away.
