Cache Creek man arrested after breaking into ATV yard

KAMLOOPS — Police say a man has been arrested after allegedly trying to steal an ATV.

In a news release, Kamloops RCMP say officers responded to a report that a man was breaking into the fenced compound of a business that sells ATVs.

An officer attended and saw a man sitting on an ATV outside of the compound.

According to the release, the suspect ran away when the officer attempted to arrest him.

The officer followed him and was able to catch up with the 40-year-old Cache Creek man, who was then taken into custody.
