Beyonce’s Not Done with Disney
Beyonc is reportedly in talks for a new deal with Disney. According to The Jasmine Brand, following the success of the live-action remake of The Lion King, Bey is reportedly having discussions about a another project with the company.
An insider told The Sun, “Beyonce’s deal with Disney for The Lion King was one of the biggest it has done to date. Now they want to expand it by giving her free reign to create her own movies under the Disney umbrella. The conversations are ongoing but it’s an exciting proposition.”
The Lion King has almost hit the $1 billion mark globally after being in theaters for only three weeks.
In other news, Blue Ivy has made Billboard chart history. At seven-years-old, Blue is the youngest person to earn a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 – or any Billboard chart for that matter. The Jasmine Brand reports that Blue earned her very first entry on the Hot 100 after being featured on her mom’s record, “Brown Skin Girl.”
