Spencer high-jumps to gold at Canadian Track & Field Championships

MONTREAL — Kamloops Track and Field Club athletes are bringing home the hardware at the Canadian Track and Field Championships this week.

Bazil Spencer won gold today (July 27) in high jump at the Montreal-based event in a personal best of 2.03m.

Joining Spencer in the medal column today was Phoebe Price-Roberts of the Kamloops Track and Field Club, who threw 54.02m for a bronze finish in women’s U20 hammer throw.

Those performances join Greg Stewart and Josh Farrell’s medal-winning shot put throws earlier this week.
