Prowlers outslug Bombers in deciding game in Men’s Fastball final

In a game longtime scorekeeper Tony Parker called the longest in the history of the league and the highest-scoring playoff game ever, the Frenchy’s Prowlers defeated the HD Parts Bombers 16 – 15 in extra innings.

In the top of the eighth inning, with the International Tiebreaker rule in effect, the Bombers scored twice to take a 15-13 lead. In the bottom half of the eighth, after Vegas Antoine was given an intentional walk, pinch hitter Aaron Arnouse drove in a pair of runs to tie it. The next batter, Josh Simpson singled to drive in the winning run.

The Bombers outhit the Prowlers 19-16.
