Kamloops Venom keep season alive with first win of league final

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Venom will live another day in the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League final after taking care of business at home on Tuesday night.
The Venom won their first game of the best-of-five championship series, 9-7, in the Snake Pit at Memorial Arena.
Trey Dergousoff had three goals and two assists in the season-saving win. Zander torres had a goal and five assists for the South Okanagan Flames, who still have two chances to win their first league championship.
Game 4 is in Oliver on Thursday night. If necessary, Game 5 would be on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Arena.
