Logan Lake Mountie rescues injured bald eagle
LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — A bald eagle is recovering at the BC Wildlife Park after being rescued by an RCMP officer in Logan Lake.
In a news release, Logan Lake RCMP say when you sign on with the Mounties you never know what lies ahead in your shift — and there’s no call too small for an officer.
On June 30, Logan Lake RCMP responded to a report of an injured bald eagle on the side of the road near Mammette Lake Road and Foley Road.
When Const. Dell arrived he found the injured eagle appeared to be unable or unwilling to leave the area.
