2019 Kamloops Ambassadors crowned

KAMLOOPS — The 2019-20 Kamloops Ambassador team has been announced.

Miss Kamloops 2019 Ireland Miller is joined by Kamloops Princesses Katrina Peterson and Rory Jakubec, the Kamloops Ambassador Society Committee says in a news release.

Raisa Dewan took home the Butterfly award for most growth throughout the program. Peterson was the recipient of the Knowledge award, the People’s Choice award and the Friendship award. Miller was awarded the Public Speaking award.

The coronation ceremony took place Saturday (July 6) and the ambassadors will meet with Kamloops city council on Tuesday.

The ambassadors will also represent Kamloops at their first out of town event in Kelowna this weekend.
