Kamloops mayor wants answers for cannabis revenue sharing

KAMLOOPS — In the first five and a half months of cannabis legalization in Canada, Ottawa and the provinces made $186 million from taxes on cannabis.
Yet municipalities haven’t seen any of that revenue.
Kamloops Mayor Ken Christian told CFJC’s Balance of Power that he plans on bringing the issue up at the Union of B.C. Municipalities convention in September.
